North Port Fire Rescue shared a new episode of its podcast “Voices of Fire Rescue,” featuring Fire Chief Scott Titus and Firefighter/Paramedic Anthony Sardina.

In the episode, Titus sits down with Sardina to discuss Sardina’s journey in the fire service and his focus on building connections both inside and outside the department. The post says Sardina explains how growing up around the fire service influenced his career path and what drew him to North Port Fire Rescue.

The podcast also covers challenges Sardina has faced along the way, along with the importance of camaraderie, department culture, and creating opportunities for firefighters and their families to connect beyond the workplace.
